MISSION :  Responsible for providing excellent, attentive, and courteous service. Adherence to quality standards at all times and special attention to customer service, ensuring that food and beverages are presented correctly before serving, thereby guaranteeing guest and customer satisfaction and earning their recognition and preference for the Hotel’s services.

FUNCTIONS

  • Carry out and ensure compliance with the instructions of your immediate supervisor regarding tasks and obligations assigned to you before and at the end of your shift. 
  • Verify that you have all the necessary equipment and supplies to provide room service and handle it properly to avoid breakage, waste, and losses.
  • Participate in the “briefings” at the beginning of each shift in order to receive information about the day’s specialties, shortages, VIPs, groups, general comments and exchange of opinions.
  • Consistently offer a friendly and respectful attitude to guests when delivering services in their rooms, always maintaining an impeccable posture and presentation.
  • The service must be fast and correct, following the SOP for your position, ensuring that your interventions are timely. 
  • Before providing the service, we ensure that the order corresponds to the room and the customer’s specifications and requests.
  • Prepare the service setups according to the established quality and presentation standards, verifying that all products are included, such as cutlery, salt shakers, napkins, sauces, dressings, etc.
  • Handle the services with extreme caution to avoid any accidents, spills or breakages, complying at all times with safety regulations.
  • Immediately remove any item or food that the customer does not like; if it is something simple, return it to the kitchen, but if it is more important, inform your immediate supervisor.
  • Present the bill to the customer, strictly adhering to the established collection procedures, depending on the payment method. 
  • He is punctual for his duties and complies with the policies and procedures regarding discipline, presentation, schedules, transit areas and safety standards established by the Hotel.
  • Attend department meetings and continuously participate in training scheduled for your position.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Local language and advanced English.  A third language will be highly valued.

Training appropriate to the position (Vocational Training, Specialization Courses, etc.).

Teamwork skills, proactivity towards excellence, dynamism and organization.
