Job description:

Job Mission: To ensure food and beverage service at the assigned hotel outlet and collaborate with the waitstaff, performing their duties efficiently according to established procedures and quality standards. To offer professional service and a genuine service attitude that meets customer expectations, earning their recognition and preference. Following the guidance of the waitstaff and head waiter, to carry out assigned service or customer service tasks.

What will you have to do?

OPERATIONS

• Perform and ensure compliance with the instructions of your direct supervisor regarding the tasks and functions assigned to you before and at the end of your shift.

• Inform the waiter/head waiter of the supplies needed to provide service in the rooms and manage them properly to avoid breakage and waste.

• Participate in briefings at the beginning of each shift to receive information about the day’s specialties, absences, VIPs, groups, general comments and exchange of opinions.

• To consistently offer customers a friendly and respectful attitude, always maintaining an impeccable posture and presentation.

• The service must be fast and correct, following the SOPs for your position and ensuring that your interventions are timely.

• Prepare service setups according to established quality and presentation standards, verifying that all products are included, such as cutlery, salt shakers, napkins, sauces, dressings, etc.

• Handle the services with extreme caution to avoid accidents, spills or breakages, complying at all times with safety regulations.

• Participate regularly in the training sessions scheduled for your position.

• Execute all instructions and tasks assigned by your immediate supervisor and the responsibilities required by the position.
