At the Gran Meliá Palacio de los Duques Hotel, we are looking for a waiter/waitress responsible for providing excellent service in line with the brand’s luxury standards. Their main mission is to guarantee a sophisticated, personalized, and memorable experience for each guest in a space that combines history and an exclusive ambiance.

 

 

Main mission:

 

  • Prepare and serve drinks, cocktails and snacks following the hotel’s quality standards.
  • Advise guests on the drinks menu, signature cocktails and bar offerings.
  • To take orders efficiently and ensure a smooth, elegant, and high-level service.
  • Keep the work area, bar and tables clean, organized and well stocked, meeting hygiene and presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and dining room team to ensure coordinated operations and impeccable service.
  • Manage payments and orders using POS systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Comply with Gran Meliá’s customer service protocols, offering a friendly, professional and personalized service.
  • Participate in internal training and support continuous service improvement initiatives.

 

 

What are we looking for in you?

 

  • Previous experience as a waiter/barista in 4 or 5 star hotels or luxury restaurants.
  • Solid knowledge of cocktails, barista skills and premium beverage service.
  • High level of English; other languages ​​are a plus.
  • Excellent presence, communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Availability for rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Luxury customer focus.
  • Teamwork.
  • Efficient time management and multitasking.
  • Mastery of service techniques and protocol.
