Job Description

 

We are looking for passionate Sushi Chef candidate who are committed to luxury hospitality standards and exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in sushi preparation techniques, food safety and HACCP standards, and can consistently deliver high-quality presentation in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic and diverse team.

  • Passion for luxury hospitality and exceptional service
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse, dynamic team
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment is an asset
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or Chef de Partie in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, including nigiri, sashimi, and maki.
  • Expertise in handling and preparing raw fish safely in accordance with hygiene standards.
  • Familiarity with Japanese ingredients, seasonings, and traditional culinary practices.
  • Ability to maintain consistency, quality, and presentation under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP standards.
  • Excellent knife skills and precision in fish cutting techniques.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional kitchen team.
