As Chef de Rang, you will play a key role in delivering refined and memorable dining experiences, ensuring each guest receives attentive, personalised service throughout their journey. More than simply serving food and beverages, you will create a sophisticated and engaging atmosphere, where every detail contributes to an exceptional guest experience. This role is ideal for a polished and service‑driven professional who thrives in a luxury environment and takes pride in excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional and attentive food and beverage service in line with brand standards
  • Take ownership of a designated section, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
  • Guide guests through the menu, providing knowledgeable recommendations on dishes and beverages
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service
  • Set up and maintain tables to the highest presentation standards
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively with a personalised approach
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address feedback with professionalism and care
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas throughout service
  • Support junior team members, providing guidance and ensuring consistent service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and company policies and procedures
  • Uphold impeccable standards of grooming, communication and service excellence

Core Competencies

We are seeking a confident and detail‑driven individual who brings elegance, professionalism and a passion for hospitality. You should have:

  • Previous experience in a Chef de Rang or food and beverage service role, ideally within a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant
  • Strong understanding of restaurant service standards and guest experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a section effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and engaging approach
