Manager, Global Business Architecture

What you’ll do during a typical day:

  • Lead business and technical discovery efforts to identify gaps, integration requirements, and improvement opportunities within the CALA technology ecosystem, with a initial focus on Brazil
  • Partner with global technology teams to translate regional needs into clear business and technical requirements
  • Support the localization and configuration of Hilton’s Property Engagement Platform (PEP), ensuring understanding of local operational practices, fiscal requirements, and legal compliance across CALA countries
  • Create project plans for increased transparency across projects
  • Identify project risks, build mitigation plans and manage leadership escalations accordingly
  • Lead daily project activities and support project workstreams with their deliverables
  • Support pilot initiatives, country rollouts, and continuous improvement efforts related to PEP and the broader property technology ecosystem

How you’ll collaborate with others:

  • Facilitate regular project calls with technology, business and vendor workstreams to convey project vision, communicate priorities and lead overall progress
  • Conduct deep-dive sessions to define requirements, identify solutions and resolve problems
  • Collaborate with regional teams in preparation for implementing Property Engagement Platform (PEP) in new countries
  • Collaborate with regional ownership and management groups to understand technology needs

Projects you’ll take ownership of:

  • PEP, Hilton’s new cloud-based property management system
  • Regionalization of Hilton’s technology stack for CALA

 

What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology
  • One (1) year of hospitality experience
  • Two (2) years of technical project management experience
  • Travel up to 15%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
  • Seven (7) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Two (2) + years of professional work experience in a multinational company
  • Experience with property management systems, i.e., Opera, OnQ PM, HotelKey
  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and MS Project
