Job Description

 

Position Summary

Fairmont Mumbai seeks a distinguished Master Chef – Indian Cuisine (Awadhi Specialist) to lead the culinary vision and execution of its signature Indian dining experiences. As a custodian of India’s rich culinary heritage, the Master Chef will be responsible for showcasing the refinement, authenticity, and artistry of Awadhi cuisine while delivering exceptional luxury dining experiences that reflect Fairmont’s commitment to excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in traditional Awadhi gastronomy, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or renowned destination restaurants. This individual will serve as a culinary ambassador for the hotel, elevating its reputation as a premier destination for Indian cuisine.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary Leadership

  • Lead the culinary strategy, development, and execution of all Awadhi and specialty Indian cuisine offerings.
  • Preserve and promote the authenticity of Awadhi culinary traditions while introducing contemporary interpretations suitable for luxury dining.
  • Create signature dishes and bespoke dining experiences that distinguish Fairmont Mumbai in the luxury hospitality market.
  • Ensure exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
