About the role

The Douglas Club is an intimate cocktail bar inspired by the glamour of the 1930’s golden age of travel. Bring your passion and creativity to life and deliver an exceptional guest experience! Specifically, you will:

• Connect with guests, show your personality, and make every visit unforgettable.
• Shake, stir, pour, and serve up everything from cocktails to wine with flair.
• Understand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activities.
• Work closely with the team to keep service running smoothly during busy periods.
• Bring energy to the venue and help maintain a fun, welcoming atmosphere.
• Process orders and payments accurately while delivering exceptional service.

What are we looking for?

• Must have a current and valid Victorian ‘Responsible Service of Alcohol’ certificate
• Previous experience within a cocktail bar required
• Knowledge and ability to create classic cocktails
• Exceptional personal presentation and communication skills
• Bring positive energy, a friendly vibe, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to work around a 7 day week roster including evenings, weekends and public holiday
