Senior Sales Manager

Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Bricton Group, Inc. (The). The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead commercial growth at our premier 360-room Marriott airport property. In this role, you will leverage the power of the Marriott brand, global distribution systems, and Bonvoy loyalty network to maximize group and catering revenue. You will position our extensive event venues as the top choice for regional and national corporate travelers, associations, and event planners.

•Drive Revenue: Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets for Marriott guest rooms and meeting spaces.
•Cultivate Accounts: Prospect, negotiate, and close high-value corporate, association, and group accounts using Marriott’s global sales resources.
•Lead Strategically: Develop and execute targeted marketing and sales plans to capture airport-market demand.
•Conduct Site Inspections: Showcase our 360 rooms and versatile Marriott meeting facilities to prospective clients.
•Collaborate Closely: Partner with Marriott revenue management and catering teams to maximize profitability per square foot.

Job Qualifications:
•Experience: 4+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, with a strong preference for Marriott full-service brand background.
•Systems Expertise: High proficiency with Marriott systems, specifically Marriott CI/TY, and MARSHA.
•Space Expertise: Proven track record of selling large room blocks combined with heavy meeting space logistics.
•Local Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the San Antonio corporate and group market is highly preferred.
•Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
