POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Manager – Logistics & Procurement is responsible for the end-to-end management of procurement logistics, import operations, customs compliance, freight consolidation and international sourcing activities for Marriott Hotels in Fiji. The role ensures compliance with Fiji Customs and Biosecurity regulations while delivering cost-effective and uninterrupted supply chain operations.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure compliance with Marriott Procurement Policies, Fiji Customs Laws, Fiji Biosecurity Laws, import regulations, trade requirements and audit standards.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
Work closely with Cluster Procurement Manager, Finance, Operations, Suppliers, Freight Forwarders, CHA, Fiji Customs and Biosecurity Authority.
