The Banquet Server plays a key in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences for meetings, conferences, weddings, galas, social events, and catered functions. Through professionalism, attention to detail, and outstanding service, our Banquets team creates memorable experiences while ensuring every event is executed seamlessly from setup to breakdown.

Please note that this is a contract position with the start date in early August, 2026 and the end date of January 18, 2027.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service and Event Experience

• Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests throughout banquet and catered events.
• Deliver warm, attentive, and personalized service while maintaining a polished and professional appearance.
• Serve guests in a variety of banquet settings including plated breakfasts, lunches and dinners, buffet service, coffee breaks, working lunches, cocktail receptions, weddings, galas, and off-site catered events.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
• Explain menu offerings and assist guests with dietary restrictions, food allergies, and beverage selections.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of banquet menus, beverage offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and service standards.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns in a courteous, calm, and professional manner, escalating issues to leadership when appropriate.

Food and Beverage Service

• Execute banquet service according to established sequence of service and luxury hospitality standards.
• Serve food and beverages with attention to timing, presentation, accuracy, and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor guest tables throughout the event, proactively replenishing beverages and clearing finished courses.
