Sofitel New York is looking for a self-motivated, up and coming hospitality professional to join our dynamic sales and marketing team as a Marketing Coordinator. The Marketing Coordinator will support the Director of Sales and Marketing and Marketing Managers with all aspects related to the marketing process.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.

The Marketing Coordinator will support the Director of Sales and Marketing and Marketing Manager with all aspects related to the marketing process by being on property. This not a remote or hybrid position.

What you will be doing:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager. Working as the primary liaison between the hotel and our group partners and planners, you will communicate professionally and respond via phone and emails in timely manner. Preparing VIP amenities, managing booking links, reservation changes and ensuring on time payment are key aspects of this position, along with greeting clients on site and ensuring overall success of their experience, along with the Sales Manager, is paramount. This position may also include supporting the Director of Sales and Marketing with general office administration, light marketing projects, vendor management, and preparation of purchase orders, corporate office requests and community partner communication, along with light support of the business travel team.
