Job Mission:  The waiter/waitress is responsible for providing excellent, attentive, and friendly service. They consistently adhere to quality standards and pay special attention to customer service, ensuring that food and beverages are presented correctly before serving them. Their mission is to ensure guest and customer satisfaction, earning their recognition and preference for the hotel’s services.

What will you have to do?:

• Carry out and ensure compliance with the instructions of your immediate supervisor regarding assigned tasks and obligations before and at the end of the shift.
• Verify that you have all the necessary equipment and supplies to provide room service and handle it properly to avoid breakage, waste, and losses.
• Participate in the “briefings” at the beginning of each shift to receive information about the day’s specialties, shortages, VIPs, groups, general comments and exchange of opinions.
• Consistently offer a friendly and respectful attitude to guests when delivering services in their rooms, always maintaining an impeccable posture and presentation.
• Ensure that the order matches the room and the customer’s specifications and requests before providing the service.
• Perform the service setups according to the established quality and presentation standards, verifying that all necessary products are included.

What are we looking for?:

• Education and training: Compulsory Secondary Education and/or Higher Level.
• Languages: Local language (depending on the geographical location of the establishment) and advanced English. A third language would be highly valued.
• Specific knowledge: Training relevant to the position (vocational training, specialization courses, etc.), teamwork skills, proactive approach to excellence, dynamism, and organization. A high level of English is essential. Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar position or 2 years as a waiter’s assistant.
