Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with the resort’s recipes, standards, and service procedures.
• Deliver warm, friendly, and personalized service to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Welcome guests, take beverage orders, provide recommendations, and answer questions regarding drinks and promotions.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, mocktails, and beverage pairings.
• Ensure all beverages are prepared consistently, accurately, and presented to the highest quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the bar, including equipment, glassware, utensils, and workstations.
• Set up and close the bar according to established opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor and replenish bar stock, garnishes, ice, glassware, and other supplies to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Conduct daily inventory counts and report stock shortages, breakages, and discrepancies to the Bar Supervisor or Outlet Manager.
• Minimize product waste and control beverage costs by following standard recipes and portion controls.
• Process guest bills accurately using the POS system and handle cash and card transactions in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist in creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere by engaging professionally with guests while maintaining resort service standards.
• Promote signature cocktails, premium beverages, and ongoing promotions to maximize beverage sales.
• Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the supervisor when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards at all times and Follow all health, safety, fire, and security policies and report any hazards immediately.
• Participate in training sessions, beverage tastings, and product knowledge programs to continuously improve skills.
• Support special events, themed dinners, private functions, and outdoor beverage services as required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the resort’s grooming standards.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Bar Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, or Food & Beverage Management.
