Beverage Manager

Overlooking the scenic South China Sea, an hour away by ferry from Singapore, Mövenpick  Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon will introduce Swiss-inspired hospitality to Bintan in celebration of Mövenpick’s rich culinary legacy. We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Beverage Manager to join our team in Movenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon. As a key member of our food and beverage department reporting to the F&B Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our beverage operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving profitability.

• Manage and optimize beverage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storage
• Develop and implement innovative beverage menus that align with current trends and guest preferences
• Train and supervise bar staff to maintain high standards of service and product knowledge
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Monitor and control beverage costs to maximize profitability
• Collaborate with the food and beverage team to create cohesive dining experiences
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any beverage-related issues promptly and professionally
• Analyze sales data and prepare regular reports on beverage performance
• Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new beverage concepts to keep offerings fresh and exciting
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting for the beverage department
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
• Proven track record in beverage management and cost control
• Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
