Responsibilities

• Responsible for greeting and seating guests in an efficient manner.
• Ensure cleanliness of each section of the dining rooms and make necessary improvements as well as check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set
• Assist the Server in providing an expertly served dining experience by clearing and resetting tables according to standards.
• Deliver food and provide eloquent food descriptions in a synchronized manner.
• Utilize the resort’s computer system ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks and completing closing readings.
• Anticipate the needs of guest’s and co-workers instantaneously.
• Manage the host stand, review the reservation book and make recommendations as to the setup of the table sections.
• Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information.
• Manage guest reservations and respond to inquiries in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
