Front Office Night Supervisor

Set next to the picturesque Vondelpark, in the heart of the city, the 396-room Amsterdam Marriott is celebrated for its proximity to significant landmarks such as the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum, exclusive shopping, vibrant nightlife and high-end restaurants. What are my responsibilities?

We’re seeking an individual with excellent hospitality skills and a passion for working with people to join us in the Front Desk position. Your main responsibilities will include handling guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing guest feedback, managing cash transactions, and fulfilling guest requests. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will collaborate with the Front Office Manager and/or Front Office Night Manager to oversee Front Desk Clerks during your shift. This role requires working morning and night shifts, with up to 50% of your time dedicated to the night shift for night audits. A solid understanding of financial figures is essential. To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Possess or be pursuing a degree in hospitality.
  • Own the necessary permits or documentation to work in the Netherlands
  • Have previous customer service experience.
  • Fluent communication skills in English, with knowledge of an additional language being advantageous.
  • Willingness to work morning, night, and weekend shifts.
  • Display proactive and reliable qualities.
