Vice President Revenue Operations

Job Description

The Vice President Revenue Operations defines and leads the global Revenue Management strategy, operating model and performance agenda across the portfolio. The role converts demand, market and commercial insights into pricing, inventory, forecasting and business-mix decisions that maximize profitable revenue, market share and asset value. Working across regions, hotels and corporate functions, the role drives consistent execution, strengthens revenue-management capabilities, and accelerates the adoption of data, automation and modern revenue technology. The incumbent is accountable for building a high-performing, future-ready organization and for ensuring that Revenue Management operates as an influential commercial partner to hotels, owners and senior leadership, in line with company values, policies and applicable regulations.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Revenue strategy and value creation (20%): Define and execute the global Revenue Management strategy across brands, regions and business models. Translate company growth priorities into pricing, inventory, channel, segmentation and business-mix strategies that increase profitable revenue, RevPAR, RGI and long-term asset value.
  • Performance leadership and governance (20%): Own the Revenue Management performance framework, targets and review cadence. Challenge business performance, identify risks and opportunities early, and ensure clear, insight-led actions and accountability across corporate, regional and hotel teams.
  • Commercial planning, forecasting and optimization (15%): Elevate forecasting accuracy, budgeting, displacement and total-revenue decision-making. Establish standards and decision frameworks that optimize rooms and, where relevant, ancillary revenue streams while balancing occupancy, rate, contribution and customer value.
  • Technology, data and innovation (15%): Set the functional roadmap for RMS, forecasting, pricing, analytics and automation capabilities. Partner with Transformation, Pulse and Distribution teams to ensure scalable solutions, high data quality, responsible use of AI, strong adoption and measurable business benefits.
  • Operating model and execution excellence (10%): Design and continuously improve the global Revenue Management operating model, including roles, service delivery, processes, standards and ways of working. Drive simplification, productivity and consistent execution while allowing for relevant market and business-model differences.
  • Talent, capability and culture (10%): Lead, develop and inspire a diverse global team. Build succession pipelines and career paths, strengthen analytical and commercial capabilities, and foster a culture of ownership, curiosity, collaboration, inclusion and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder, hotel and owner partnership (5%): Act as the senior Revenue Management partner to executive leadership, regional teams, hotels and owners. Communicate complex performance topics with clarity, influence decisions, and build confidence in strategies, investments and expected returns.
  • Business development and strategic business cases (5%): Lead the Revenue Management input into business cases for future hotel openings, renovations and other strategic, non-tactical initiatives. Define revenue projections, market positioning, demand assumptions and commercial scenarios to support investment decisions and long-term value creation.

  • Enterprise-level revenue management expertise within a multi-brand, multi-market hospitality environment
  • Strategic and commercial leadership with a strong record of delivering profitable revenue and market-share growth
  • Advanced understanding of pricing, forecasting, inventory optimization, segmentation, distribution economics and total-revenue principles
  • Strong analytical judgment; able to convert complex data into clear choices, actions and executive-level narratives
  • Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams and driving organizational or operating-model transformation
  • Technology fluency across RMS, BI, forecasting and automation platforms, with the ability to sponsor adoption and value realization
  • High-impact stakeholder management and influencing skills, including credibility with hotel leadership, owners and senior executives
  • Excellent communication, change-leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills across cultures and organizational levels
  • Financial acumen, disciplined prioritization and the ability to manage investment, productivity and ROI trade-offs
  • High integrity, resilience, learning agility and a visible commitment to company culture, inclusion and responsible leadership
