We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our culinary team in Baghdad, Iraq. In this role, you will be responsible for creating exceptional pastries, desserts, and baked goods that delight our guests and uphold our commitment to culinary excellence. You will work in a dynamic kitchen environment where creativity, precision, and quality are paramount. • Prepare and execute a diverse range of high-quality pastries, cakes, breads, desserts, and bakery products according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain exceptional standards of quality, consistency, creativity, and food safety across all pastry operations
• Ensure compliance with HACCP principles, local food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and all applicable health and safety legislation
• Manage daily food requisitions and inventory for pastry and bakery operations, optimizing ingredient usage and minimizing waste
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to plan production schedules and ensure timely preparation and delivery of pastry items to various outlets and events
• Develop and contribute innovative pastry recipes and dessert concepts that align with guest preferences, market trends, and organizational culinary positioning
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pastry station, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to special requests and ensuring guest satisfaction with pastry offerings
