The Director, Learning will be responsible for the strategic planning, design, execution, and evaluation of all learning and development initiatives at Fairmont Southampton. This role ensures that colleagues (at all levels) have access to high-quality training, career development pathways, and professional growth opportunities while fostering a culture of continuous learning and service excellence consistent with Fairmont and Accor standards.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Strategy & Organizational Development

• Develop and execute the resort’s Learning & Development strategy in alignment with the People & Culture and business objectives.
• Conduct annual and ongoing Learning Needs Analyses (LNA) to identify gaps, opportunities, and department-specific training requirements.
• Build a structured annual learning plan covering mandatory, brand, operational, service, leadership, and compliance training.
• Partner with department heads to integrate learning goals into their departmental strategies.
