About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen within the Food & Beverage Division in Shenzhen, Tapas Outlet Manager is responsible for the overall business performance, guest satisfaction, colleague engagement and operational excellence of the assigned outlet. Tapas Outlet Manager reports to Assistant Director of Restaurants, Bars and Experiences.

As Tapas Outlet Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Provide strong leadership, coaching, and development to outlet colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence that ensures outstanding guest satisfaction, colleague engagement, and operational success
• Develop and foster a strong learning and development culture within the outlet, ensuring colleagues are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and behaviors required to perform their roles effectively and consistently deliver exceptional results
• Oversee guest feedback channels, satisfaction metrics, and online reputation performance, translating insights into continuous improvement strategies that elevate service standards, strengthen guest loyalty, and reinforce the outlet’s reputation for excellence.
• Drive the achievement of departmental revenue, profitability, productivity, and operational objectives through strategic planning, effective resource management, and disciplined execution, ensuring sustainable business performance and service excellence.

As Tapas Outlet Manager, we expect from you: 

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience in similar capacity
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Excellent command of both spoken and written Mandarin and English
• Strong operational expertise, including service excellence, quality assurance, inventory management, cost control, and compliance with health and safety standards
• A hands-on leadership approach with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic hospitality environment.
