Novotel Hyderabad Airport designed to help guests find their way around easily is built on simplicity and elegance and well positioned near the new international airport.  The hotel features 290 rooms and suites in the Premier Floor with WiFi access, along with a restaurant, a bar, a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and meeting rooms accommodating up to 400 guests covering a total area of 7 acres. The major access routes are National Highway 7 (from the west) and Srisailam SH (from the east).

Primary Responsibilities

• Consistently offer a professional and friendly greeting, engaging service and warm welcome to all guest.
• To ensure every guest is bid fond farewell when they depart.
• To ensure all arrival reports are printed in advance before the meal periods and properly recorded for records.
• Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Understand shift end reports in the outlet and the POS system
• Understand the Server’s tasks in the outlet and perform other duties as assigned by leader.

People Management

• You must have very good communication and interpersonal skills.

• As a Hostess in you will use your charm to carry out a natural conversation with guests without sounding scripted or intrusive.
• Respond to customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure to attend to guest complaints, requests or inquiries regarding the food and services.
• Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments of Novotel, Hyderabad to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

Knowledge and Experience

• Secondary / High school education / Hotel Management Degree
• Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
• Previous Hostess experience an asset
