As a Bartender, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Creating an attractive atmosphere in Forage Kitchen + Bar through service and ambiance
• Creating cocktails and delivering a unique experience for our guests
• Daily preparation and closing of bar area
• Deliver high‑quality guest service by providing efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service that meets standards, including guest needs and room service.
• Maintain operational excellence through proper hygiene, cleaning, mis‑en‑place, equipment control, stock takes, and accurate communication with kitchen and guests.
• Ensure accurate financial processes including guest billing, shift revenue reconciliation, and correct posting of charges.
• Support smooth daily operations by adhering to service times, ensuring staff competence and sales maximisation, and working flexibly across a 7‑day rotating roster with early and late shifts.

Whilst talent and attitude are our primary requirements, you also have:

• Prior Bartending experience
• Articulate verbal communication and passion for building a rapport with our guests.
• Ability to work well under pressure, think on your feet and ability to make quick decisions.
• Clear and efficient communication with the kitchen team.
• The right to work in New Zealand
