Mandarin Oriental London Corporate Office is looking for a 12-month Contract Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team.

Based at the Mandarin Oriental London Corporate Office within the Finance Department in London, the 12-month Contract Assistant Accountant is responsible for managing supplier invoices, supporting month-end closing, and maintaining accurate financial records. The 12-month Assistant Accountant reports to the Corporate Finance Manager, UK.

 

As Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Managing supplier invoices and ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
• Supporting month-end closing activities including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Assisting with bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.

 

As Assistant Accountant, we expect from you:

• Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, or similar certification in Finance.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role.
• AAT or part-qualified certification preferred.
• Intermediate Excel skills with strong reconciliation experience.
