Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the hotel’s cost control function by monitoring inventory transactions, verifying purchases, maintaining accurate stock records, and assisting with cost analysis. The role ensures compliance with company policies and contributes to effective financial and operational control.
Key Responsibilities
• Verify and record food, beverage, and general store purchases.
• Monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate stock records.
• Perform stock reconciliation and investigate discrepancies.
• Review receiving documents, invoices, and supporting records.
• Assist with monthly inventory counts and cost reports.
• Prepare cost control reports and analysis for management review.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving, Store, and operational departments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support month-end closing and other accounting activities as assigned.
Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in Cost Control, Accounting, Receiving, or Store operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management and cost control processes.
• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Honest, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
