Responsible for a multi-property, outside sales effort within a specific market. Proactively prospect, qualify, build business relationships and gain new business opportunities that drive top line revenues, market share and profitability to the portfolio of hotels within the market. Demonstrate effective internal and external communication, advocate an enthusiastic, professional work environment, and elevate our customer experience.
What You’ll Do
Execute hotel and market sales initiatives using targeted account strategies.
Own strategic account planning, performance accountability, and regular reporting.
Drive business transient, group, and extended stay revenue across the hotel portfolio.
Conduct proactive sales activities including prospecting, sales calls, site tours, blitzes, trade shows, and customer events.
Identify new business opportunities while growing existing accounts and replacing underperforming ones.
Analyze sales and operational reports to uncover opportunities, gain market share, and increase profitability.
Track activity, maintain accurate account information, and manage pipelines in the CRM.
Build long-term partnerships that create referrals, community awareness, and direct sales.
Represent the company at community events, associations, sponsorships, and customer entertainment opportunities.
Collaborate in department meetings, complete required trainings, and follow company policies and standards.
About You:
6+ years of hospitality sales experience, with 2+ years managing multiple properties preferred.
Marriott Brand experience required
Motivated by goals, activity metrics, and delivering measurable results
Comfortable prospecting, networking, and building relationships in the community.
Able to analyze data, identify trends, and turn insights into actionable strategies.
Ability to stay organized, maintain accurate records, and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with MS Office and Marriott systems such as MARSHA, Opera/CI, Micros, and applicable reporting tools.
A hands-on, visible leadership style; approachable, supportive, and dedicated to high service standards.
