This leader walks the line with taking pride and staying curious as they ensure the day-to-day operations of the finance department run smoothly while being radical transparent with their team and the operation. They supervise the accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashier and night audit team members plus assist the Director of Finance with training, developing and empowering the team to make thoughtful decisions for business operation.
Requested Tasks
Ensure financial operations align with the company’s goals and objectives
Assist in preparation and review of daily reports to monitor financial performance.
Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Review and reconcile daily bank transactions and cash flow updates
Conduct mid-month P&L reviews to ensure expenses are in line with forecasts and budgets
Assist in preparation of annual budgets
Ensure payment of all necessary taxes and maintaining compliance with local regulations
Prepare responses and reports as needed for internal and external stakeholders
Requested Capabilities
Prior experience as a Finance Manager or Assistant Director of Finance with a hotel required.
Prior experience in management.
Prior experience with a largescale ERP highly preferred
Highly organized and detailed-oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
