As an Assistant Director of Finance at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, we expect from you:

• Support the Director of Finance in overseeing the hotel’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, financial integrity and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial statements, reconciliations, and the preparation of management reports.

• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, analysing performance and identifying opportunities to optimise profitability and control costs.

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger, ensuring robust internal controls and audit compliance.

• Lead, coach and develop the Finance team, working closely with department heads to support informed financial decisions and operational excellence.

As an Assistant Director of Finance, you will be working mainly Monday to Friday, 39 hours a week from the office. However depending on business needs, occasionally on weekends so flexibility is required where applicable.

To be a successful Assistant Director of Finance candidate, you will have proven experience in a senior finance role within the hospitality industry, ideally within a five-star hotel environment, strong financial and analytical skills, excellent leadership capabilities, and a thorough understanding of hotel financial operations, budgeting and financial controlshttps://careers.mandarinoriental.com/jobs/assistant-director-of-finance-london-england-united-kingdom
