About the role

The Assistant Director of Residences plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall leadership and management of the Residence Club operation. This position reports to the Director of Residences and ensure that homeowners and their guests receive a seamless, highly personalized experience aligned with Four Seasons standards.

This leadership role oversees day-to-day residential operations, including owner services, financial oversight, property maintenance, and HOA relations. Acting as a key liaison between owners, the HOA Board, resort operational teams, and external partners, the Assistant Director ensures that the Residence Club community thrives both as a lifestyle and as an investment.

What you will do

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Partner with the Director of Residences in leading all aspects of the Residence Club operation, including owner services, housekeeping, engineering, and guest experience.
Oversee the Owner Services function, including reservations, inventory management, and rental program coordination.
Support the execution of annual operating and capital expenditure plans, including reserve studies and preventive maintenance programs.
Participate in the preparation, organization, and execution of HOA Board meetings and owner communications.
Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with HOA governing documents, legal agreements, and Four Seasons brand standards.
Respond effectively to owner and guest inquiries, resolving concerns with professionalism and discretion.
Lead and mentor residential team members, focusing on training, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
Lead recruitment efforts to attract, select, and onboard top residential talent, ensuring alignment with Four Seasons culture and service standards.
Review and analyze monthly P&L statements, budgets, and financial reports, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accurate reporting.
Assist Director of Residences and Assistant Director of Residential Finances on vendor contracts and purchasing for the Residence Club entity.
Actively engage with owners and guests through property tours, events, and personal interactions, fostering strong relationships and trust.
Serve as a member of the property’s Emergency Response Team, ensuring owner and employee safety.
Will be required to cover Manager on Duty shifts.

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 5–10 years of progressive leadership in residential operations or luxury hospitality.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
Solid financial management skills with the ability to interpret budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements.
