About the location:

 

 

The Assistant Director of Sales who will lead our resorts China sales strategy with our diverse and dynamic team.

 

The Assistant Director of Sales is a shared services leadership position responsible for managing the Sales Group for Four Seasons Maldives & Four Seasons Bali.  As part of a shared services collection with shared ownership, the ability to embrace, collaborate and support the “Shared-Services Model” while aligning efficiencies within the cluster is essential.

 

This position is a Department Head level and reports to the Regional Commercial Director for Maldives and Senior Commercial Director for Bali.

 

Special Requirements

  • 3 years strong relevant experience in territory with solid relationships in all segments including retail, wholesale, and group.
  • Strong working experience and relationships with wholesale segment of China trade.
  • Able to analyze competitor trends and develop strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets in territory.
  • Strong customer service and business development Skills
  • Highly motivated individual with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to draft and present comprehensive Sales Action Plan.
  • Working knowledge Golden Sales & Catering, MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

 

Major Responsibilities

General

  • Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule
  • Demonstrates standards awareness, by setting example for standards execution, standards testing and implementing action plans to achieve established product and service goals
  • To represent Maldives, Bali and Palau in all areas, internally and externally, to the highest standard, in line with established guidelines and procedures.
  • To work closely with the Sales & Marketing offices daily as it pertains to sales and marketing activities in your marketplace.

 

Departmental

  • Understand the Commercial Plan and Budgets for the resorts & Explorer as necessary.
  • Understand Four Seasons Management Operating Standards (MOS) for Sales and Marketing.  Carry out responsibilities in line with these standards.
  • Strong focus on new business development.
  • The ability to make telephone and personal sales calls to accounts in assigned market areas.  Follow up promptly with appropriate action to support telephone and personal sales calls.
  • The ability to do conduct effective presentation of our properties.
  • The ability to travel and solicit business designated by the marketing plan (up to 70% of time)
  • The ability to qualify and follow-up on all leads and maintain a good relationship with Four Seasons Worldwide Sales Office and other Four Seasons Hotels.
  • The ability to evaluate, solicit, sell and confirm business as required to meet individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability.
  • The ability to work independently.
  • The ability to create group proposals and follow up for all groups.
