The ideal Assistant General Manager candidate has 4-5 years of front of house hospitality experience within restaurants and at least 2 years in a supervisory, management, or leadership role. Hotel experience is preferred but not required. This role requires flexible availability and a leader who is deeply passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate demonstrates eagerness to learn and a collaborative, team‑first mindset. An outgoing, engaging personality and a strong passion for food & beverage excellence are essential to inspiring teams, elevating service, and creating memorable dining experiences.

What will I be doing?

As the Assistant General Manager, you would be responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing daily hotel operations in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Support the General Manager in daily operations of SweetFire Kitchen, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction
  • Serve as a visible, hands‑on leader on the floor, engaging with guests and resolving service concerns promptly and professionally
  • Assist in leading, directing and managing all hotel operations including, but not limited to, hotel budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, managing balanced scorecard performance, implementing and complying with all company policies and brand standards, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, responding to guests inquiries and resolving concerns, and meeting participation and facilitation
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, supervising, training, assessing and evaluating, coaching and counseling and recognizing and rewarding department heads
