About the location:

Overlooking the Venetian Lagoon and just steps from Piazza San Marco, Danieli, a Four Seasons Hotel, Venice is an iconic property offering elegant, spacious accommodations. The historic hotel showcases majestic Venetian architecture dating back to the 14th century. Guests can also enjoy spectacular views of Venice’s landmarks from the rooftop Restaurant Terrazza Danieli.

 

 

About the Role

The Assistant Head Concierge supports the Head Concierge in delivering exceptional guest experiences and acts as a key liaison between guests and the hotel. This position assists in overseeing Concierge operations, ensuring personalized, anticipatory service that reflects Four Seasons standards of warmth, efficiency, and local expertise.

 

What You Will Do

  • Assist in coordinating all Concierge operations, including Airport Greeters, Limousine Drivers, and guest service requests. Ensure the prompt and professional handling of guest messages, mail, packages, flowers, and other deliveries.
  • Ensure timely and professional handling of guest messages, mail, packages, flowers, and other deliveries.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of local attractions, dining, theatre, arts, cultural events, and leisure activities to provide expert recommendations and arrange tickets, tours, and reservations.
  • Develop and maintain close rapport with frequent and VIP guests, ensuring that their preferences and expectations are consistently met and communicated to the Reservations and Front Office teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the Front Desk, Reservations, Concierge and Bell Staff, to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures.
  •  Lead, train, and motivate the Concierge team to deliver intuitive, guest-focused service at all times.

 

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in a senior Concierge role within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  •  Deep passion for hospitality and exceptional customer service.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local area and ability to anticipate guests’ needs.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and handle multiple priorities. A professional, poised, and polished presence that embodies the spirit of service excellence.
