Assistant Housekeeping Manager

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager (m/f/d) in a full-time role – starting immediately.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Deputise for the Head of Housekeeping as needed
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas after cleaning, ensuring our high-quality standards are met
  • Assist the Housekeeping Management in coordinating daily operations
  • Create departmental staff schedules
  • Coordinate daily tasks and plan room cleaning schedules
  • Act as a liaison between Housekeeping, Maintenance, Front Office, and Laundry
  • Document and resolve discrepancies in room statuses with the Front Desk
  • Prepare, communicate, and implement changes in room occupancy
  • Provide information on available, guest-ready rooms
  • Prepare reports on guest arrivals and departures
  • Several years of experience in housekeeping
  • Ideally, familiarity with Opera PMS
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and their safe usage
  • Skills in planning, delegation, and team building
  • Friendly, service-oriented approach
  • A strong team spirit
  • Proficiency in both German and English
