Assistant People & Culture Manager

Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is looking for an Assistant People & Culture Manager to join our People & Culture team.

Additional features include a rooftop helipad, a two-storey spa and wellness sanctuary, landscaped rooftop pools and versatile event spaces. The Residences at Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai are set to open by 2027.

 

About the job

 

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the People & Culture department in Dubai, the Assistant People & Culture Manager is responsible for managing the full colleague onboarding lifecycle and core People & Culture administrative processes. Assistant People & Culture Manager reports to the People & Culture Manager.

 

As an Assistant People & Culture Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Deliver a professional and engaging onboarding experience, managing the full lifecycle from offer acceptance to completion and acting as the main contact for new joiners.
  • Handle all onboarding administration, documentation, employee records, and system updates in Workday, ensuring accuracy, compliance, confidentiality, and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate logistics such as visas, work permits, Emirates ID, travel arrangements, and onboarding-related requisitions while aligning with company policies and cost efficiency.
