Job mission:
Provides support to the hotel’s Chief Engineer by coordinating/executing different tasks.
The functions to be performed will be the following:
Strategy:
- Detects and conveys to the Chief Engineer needs and opportunities in the hotel where he/she is based the Technical Services function.
Budget:
- For the preparation of the hotel budget, provide the Chief Engineer with information regarding the state of the hotel and its needs.
Investments:
- Regarding the Risk Management Plan, collaborate with the Chief Engineer in identifying and prioritizing investment needs within your hotel.
Technical-legal obligations:
- Performs assigned tasks related to regulatory compliance following the guidelines received.
- Collaborate in the proposal for correcting the incidents.
Maintenance:
- Supervises the execution, by the hotel’s technicians, of tasks related to preventive and corrective maintenance. Additionally, also performs some of these tasks.
- Regarding fire prevention, he is responsible for complying with the corresponding procedures to safeguard the physical integrity of guests and employees, as well as the hotel’s assets, as established by the specific plans.
Energy:
- Ensures the continuity of supply to the hotel’s main facilities: air conditioning, hot and cold water, electricity supply, etc.
- Implement energy policies and projects at the hotel.
Suppliers:
- You can provide feedback about the assigned vendors.
- Collaborates in maintenance warehouse inventories to verify its correct operation.
- Collaborates in the supervision of the work of third-party companies working in the hotel (construction and subcontracting).
Reporting:
- You can collaborate in reading daily energy consumption, to understand and ensure the proper use and performance of the facilities.
HR:
- You can assist in monitoring compliance with the schedule, rest periods, vacations, and staff attendance.
Environment:
- Collaborates in the implementation of the initiatives and actions defined by the Technical Office & Procurement department at the hotel.
- Participates in the measurement and control of information related to energy, water and waste consumption or other information required by the Hotel Services / Corporate Services areas.
What are we looking for?
- Languages: Native Spanish, English (preferred)
