The Atrium Lounge at InterContinental Adelaide offers guests an elegant and relaxed atmosphere with a sophisticated twist, specializing in crafted cocktails, fine wines, and exclusive beverages in a luxurious setting.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Manager to lead and manage our dynamic bar and restaurant team at the Atrium Lounge. Reporting directly to the Director of Food and Beverage our ideal candidate will be a strong leader in their own right. You will:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service setting high standards and finding new ways to exceed them.
- Lead, train, and manage a team of front-of-house staff.
- Manage food and beverage standards to deliver against our commitment to responsible business practices.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage the bar’s inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to reduce waste and optimize profitability.
- Manage scheduling and payroll for restaurant staff according to predetermined hotel budgets.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
What We need from you:
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager, or in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end bar environment.
- Extensive knowledge of beverages, cocktails, wine, and spirits.
- Abilitiy to speak to restaurant financial indicies ie average cheq.
- The flexibility to lead each service period across a 7 day roster, nights, on weekends and contribute to hotel operations if required.
- Proficiency with restaurant management software, table management reservations systems and POS systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Be a mentor and leader to a diverse team.
