At Paradisus Gran Canaria, a 5-star all-inclusive luxury hotel, we are looking for bar assistants — hospitality-minded individuals who want to join our bar team. If you’d like to contribute to providing exceptional experiences for our guests in a sophisticated and dynamic environment, we’re looking for you!
Job Mission:
You will support the service team in attending to guests, ensuring they enjoy excellent and personalized service, in line with Paradisus’ luxury standards.
What will you have to do?
– Prepare the service stations in the bars, ensuring everything is in perfect condition before the start of each shift.
– Assist the bartenders with taking orders and delivering drinks and snacks, ensuring fast and high-quality service.
– Replenish products and supplies in the bars, such as drinks, glasses, and utensils, to guarantee continuous service. – Assist in preparing simple drinks and maintaining cleanliness and order in the work areas.
– Serve guests with kindness and professionalism, answering questions and assisting with their needs.
– Comply with the hotel’s standards for personal presentation, customer service, and safety and hygiene protocols.
– Support events or special activities involving the bar area.
What are we looking for?
– Studies in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or related fields are valued.
– Previous experience as a Waiter’s Assistant in hotel bars or restaurants is valued, but not essential.
– Proactive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and ability to work as part of a team. – Basic knowledge of English is essential; other languages will be considered an asset.
– Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
– Dynamic individual, eager to learn and grow in the hospitality sector.
