About the role:

The Bartender is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Bartender assures each guest is greeted promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, and a smile. The Bartender provides hotel guests and servers with quick and efficient beverage service, following the state and city alcohol law while adhering to Four Seasons standards of service. The Bartender has a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar and ensures that all the details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service.

The position reports to the Bar Manager.

What you will do:

• Provide an enjoyable expertly served food and beverage to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness
• Anticipate and service of guests’ requirement before requests are necessary
• Establish and follow up on core standard, sequence of service and service procedure
• Serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner
• Take beverage orders from staff or directly from guest to prepare cocktails and other drinks
• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards
• Building rapport with the guest with above and beyond service
• Responsible for organizing and controlling the operations of the Bar
• Highly knowledgeable about making signature cocktails and taking initiative with being creative in designing the perfect cocktail to meet our guest expectations
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of workplace in line with PWT food safety standards
• Support the team in promotional calendar activities and events related to your outlet in order to upsell
• Responsible for inventory taking and recording same

What you bring:

• Must have existing work authorization to work in the country of Thailand
• Proficient in English communication
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
• Confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request
• Strong beverage knowledge regarding liquor, wine and beer is required
• Working knowledge of the Micros system is essential
