About the job

The Carpenter is responsible for performing carpentry work such as construction, repair, and installation of wooden structures and fixtures. The role involves maintaining building interiors and exteriors, ensuring quality workmanship and safety standards are met.

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials for furniture, fittings, doors, partitions, etc.
• Install and repair doors, locks, cabinets, shelves, and other wooden or modular items.
• Perform maintenance and repair works on wooden structures and furniture.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work is done in accordance with company safety regulations.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and good order of carpentry workshop and tools.
• Assist in renovation or setup projects involving wooden fittings or minor construction.
• Perform inspections to identify woodwork-related defects or issues.

Coordinate with other technicians or departments as required.

As Carpenter, we expect from you: 

• Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role (2–3 years minimum).Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Skilled in using carpentry tools and machinery.
• Ability to work from technical drawings or blueprints.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Physically fit and able to handle lifting, climbing, and manual labor.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
