Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.

We are currently looking for a Carpenter to join our Engineering team at the iconic Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens.

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and constructing wooden structures and furniture, ensuring that the hotel’s facilities remain in excellent condition. This role requires craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. You will contribute directly to the comfort and satisfaction of our guests by ensuring all carpentry-related needs are met with precision and care.

What You Will Do:

• Perform carpentry works related to the maintenance of existing infrastructure and the construction of new items as required by the hotel.
• Estimate and request the type and quantity of materials and equipment needed for projects.
• Maintain records of work activities, materials used, and prepare reports.
• Repair, restore, or build furniture, fixtures, and fittings to support hotel operations.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest and employee maintenance requests and complaints, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Assist with preventive maintenance in guestrooms and public areas to minimize breakdowns.
• Participate in major shutdowns and repair works under the direction of the Assistant Engineering Manager.
• Ensure that all plant and workshop areas are kept safe, clean, and organized.
• Respond to emergency situations such as fires or power failures in accordance with hotel protocols.
• Adhere strictly to all hotel policies regarding health, safety, fire regulations, and hygiene.
• Support colleagues and participate actively in departmental meetings, training sessions, and hotel-wide initiatives.
