Chef de Partie

The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie.

This is a seasonal full time role.

What you’ll be doing

• Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
• Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
• Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
• Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers

What we’re looking for

• You must possess the legal right to work in Italy. Valid work permit for full time role (40 hours/week).
• Fluent in Italian
• Experience in the role in 5* hotels or fine dining restaurant and understanding of luxury standards is a big plus
• Ability to manage independently the assigned partie, food orders
• Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
• Positive outlook and outgoing personality
• Understanding of F&B operations and luxury hospitality
