About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Food & Beverage Department in Zurich, the Chef de Rang is responsible for assisting the Savoy Brasserie & Bar team to always provide impeccable service to guests. The Chef de Rang reports to the Restaurant Supervisor and Assistant Restaurant Manager.

As Chef de Rang, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Professional advice and customer care for our guests
• Professional serving of food and drinks
• Complying with our high-quality standards
• Preparing the required mise-en-place, covering and cleaning work in the Savoy Brasserie & Bar area
• Supporting your superiors in their daily tasks
• Registering all transactions in the cash register system and carrying out correct cash accounting
• Assisting in the preparation and implementation of special events
• Complying with hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of the HACCP guidelines
