We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis I to join our culinary team in Mumbai, India. As a Commis I, you will be an integral part of our kitchen operations, assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes while learning from experienced chefs in a dynamic and diverse culinary environment.

• Assist in food preparation activities, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
• Follow recipes and cooking instructions accurately under the guidance of senior chefs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils
• Assist in the implementation of food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP guidelines
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service operations
• Support in the preparation of mise en place for various stations in the kitchen
• Assist in plating and presentation of dishes according to established standards
• Participate in regular team meetings and briefings
• Contribute to maintaining proper inventory levels and minimizing food waste
• Adapt to changes in menu items and cooking techniques as required by the culinary team

• Passion for culinary arts and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field
• Basic knowledge of various cooking techniques and flavor profiles
