Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch is seeking a Commis Chef for Coreus Kitchen to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hotelier to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.

Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants – Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud – bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

As a Commis Chef for Coreus Kitchen, you will support the culinary team in preparing and presenting refined, highquality dishes that contribute to an exceptional Guest and Member dining experience. You will execute precise miseenplace, uphold exacting culinary standards, and actively contribute to departmental performance objectives.

Your responsibilities will include the following, delivered with excellence and professionalism:

  • Produce consistently highquality cuisine in alignment with Hilton’s luxury brand standards
  • Execute kitchen tasks with accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
  • Support kitchen revenue performance through disciplined food cost control
  • Provide reliable and proactive assistance to the kitchen brigade
  • Prepare and present dishes to exacting standards, in accordance with company guidelines
  • Maintain immaculate work areas, ensuring strict adherence to crosscontamination protocols
  • Complete all required miseenplace for assigned menus and service periods
  • Support interdepartmental collaboration and maintain positive professional relationships
  • Promptly identify and report maintenance, hygiene, or safety concerns
