Job Description

 

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Commis II in the vibrant city of Dubai. We’re seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to support our kitchen operations and contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

  • Assist in food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation according to established standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene requirements
  • Support senior chefs in various cooking stations and learn different culinary techniques
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations during service
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
  • Participate in menu development and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
  • Maintain and properly store kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Continuously improve culinary skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and guidance from senior chefs

 

Qualifications

 

  • Passion for food and customer service with a creative approach to culinary arts
  • Basic culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Time management skills and ability to multitask effectively
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to work
  • Basic English language proficiency, both verbal and written
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Culinary school certificate or relevant experience (Preferred)
