We’re looking for an Assistant Director of Sales to join our outstanding complex. This is a fantastic chance to manage key markets while supporting and inspiring our talented sales team, driving continued success within Hilton. This person would be officed out of the Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport.
What Will I Be Doing?
A Complex Assistant Director of Sales manages the hotel sales plans by recommending growth efforts, monitoring progress, and ensuring that the hotel is competitively positioned within the local marketplace. The primary responsibilities of this position are to support the group sales team at your hotel/complex and support and participate in business strategies that are creative, dynamic and impactful towards achieving your hotels annual budget and crossover targets.
As an Assistant Director of Sales, you will individually own and manage a key vertical market for your hotel as well as contribute leadership support to the commercial strategies for the sales team. One of your goals is to support the performance improvement of the sales team by helping them connect strategy and business processes. Business processes should be executed to impact revenue streams, including Rooms, Catering and Events. Key deliverables for this role are to support the deployment, team composition, and support the team’s activities that are a “predictive and prescriptive” approach to drive performance. This role requires strong sales, communication, and networking skills. The ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs and then apply a disciplined approach to qualify, negotiate and secure new revenue for the hotel.
