Conference & Events Sales Executive

Conveniently located amongst Sydney’s CBD, Darling Harbour, Darling Square and ICC precincts at Novotel Sydney Darling Square we are looking for a Conference & Events Sales Executive to join our team. This is a perfect next step if you are already a C&E Sales Coordinator.

Working alongside a friendly team we are looking at a focused and driven individual who is able to drive our Conference and Events Sales.

What will you be doing:

• Convert leads into business through proactive sales and relationship building.
• Manage end-to-end event coordination.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
• Prepare detailed proposals that cover venue, catering, and accommodation.
• Host client site inspections of hotel and conference facilities.
• Collaborate closely with hotel operations team to deliver top-tier client service and successful events.

What you will bring:

• Previous experience in events or sales within the hospitality sector.
• Skilled communicator with excellent negotiation and networking abilities.
• Proven track record to be proactive, detail-oriented, solutions-focused and adaptable.
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
• Previous knowledge with hotel property management systems such as Opera Cloud and Delphi.
