JOB DESCRIPTION

A Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while consistently contributing to departmental targets.

What will I be doing?

As a Cook, you are responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Cook will also be required to prepare all mis-en-place and contribute to departmental targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Prepare and plate food in a cost effective and efficient manner, including:

  • Food prepared and served in accordance with recipes, photos and menus.
  • Prepares sauces, soups and hot entrees in accordance with menu.
  • Inspect food before being served to guests to ensure consistent quality and guest delivery.
  • Sets up for meals by ensuring proper amounts are in place for forecast covers, special functions, and any reservations.
  • Ensures consistency in portion.
  • As requested, completes inventory and restocks.
  • Prepares work checklist and/or completes work/shift checklist and organizes work stations for each shift.
