About the role
Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya is looking for a Director of Food and Beverage who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. The Director of Food and Beverage will be a member of a dynamic team delivering great service to our internal and external guests. This position reports to the Hotel Manager.
The Director of Food and Beverage forms part of the Hotel Leadership team who collectively makes key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel. The Director manages the overall Food & Beverage Division Operation which includes F&B Service, F&B Marketing, Kitchen and Stewarding Departments.
What you will do
The primary responsibilities for this position are to ensure our guests receive the highest level of food quality and service, manage and develop a team, devise and monitor an annual budget, manage labor control and operating expenses and develop relationships with key suppliers and industry associates.
What you bring
We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of food & beverage, have creativity and flair, and are able to evidence good business acumen, a strong work ethic and people-management skills. Applicants are required to have three to five years of luxury experience in a similar role. A college degree, preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or business administration or equivalent experience is required. Some travel is required for training, conferences and special events. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all responsibilities and tasks. Must have a high degree of professional integrity and be able to work in a safe, prudent and organized manner. Must have a commitment to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures.
