As a Purchasing Director, you’re not just overseeing procurement operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Oversee purchasing operations: Plan, direct, and manage all procurement activities to secure high-quality products at competitive prices
• Manage supplier relationships: Lead the RFP and bid process, obtain competitive bids, and negotiate optimal pricing and terms with vendors
• Control inventory levels: Ensure appropriate stock levels to meet operational needs
• Conduct purchasing and quality control: Negotiate prices for food and non-food items, place orders, schedule deliveries, and ensure the quality of products received
• Cultivate a high-performing team: Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs
